Impressions: Easter Decoration

Ostern steht kurz vor der Tür und diese Zeit nutze ich ganz traditionell, um meine Wohnung ein wenig auf Vordermann zu bringen und alles hübsch frühlingshaft zu verpacken. Vor einigen Wochen habe ich euch schon einmal in diesem Post gezeigt, wie ich meine Wohnzimmer dekoriert habe, damals konnte ich den Frühling kaum noch abwarten! Heute gibt es die optimierte Oster-Version...

Easter ist just around the corner and I always use these extra free days by tradition, which means cleaning my apartment and decorating it spring-likely. A few weeks ago I showed you some interior inspirations in a blogpost, I couldn't wait for spring! Today I will share with you my optimized easter version...  

Ich liebe Ostern über alles und obwohl ich nicht religiös bin, ist es doch mein liebster Feiertag. Die Welt erstrahlt endlich wieder in freundlichen Farben, Blumen blühen drinnen und draußen und alles schreit geradezu nach Neuanfang. Auf puren Kitsch stehe ich trotzdem nicht, es muss schon die gesunde Mischung aus Alt und Modern sein, nach diesem Konzept sind eigentlich alle meine Räume eingerichtet und arrangiert. Einen Großteil der Deko habe ich bei Depot gekauft, meine Anlaufstelle schlecht hin, wenn es um Einrichtung geht. Vor allem aber setze ich auf den gewissen ultimativen Frischekick durch Blumen in sämtlichen Variationen und Farben. So wirken die Wohnräume herausgeputzt, jedoch nicht überladen.

I love easter over all and although I'm not a religious person, it's still my favourite holiday. Finally the world shines in new splendour, there a flowers inside and outside and everything seems to be ready for a fresh start. I don't like kitsch and trash, but a good mix of both, old and modern - all of my rooms go with this concept. Most of the decoration I got at Depot, my go-to, when it comes to interior. Most of all I bet on the ultimate recipe for freshness, color and scent: flowers in all variations. In this way my living room is all dolled up, but not cluttered.

Und auf was freut ihr euch am meisten an Ostern? Bei mir ist es auf jeden Fall das Ausschlafen, vier Tage am Stück, dicht gefolgt von meiner größten Sünde, Nougateiern! Was mir aber auch riesigen Spaß macht, ist das Basteln für Familie und Freunde. Also freut euch auf nächste Woche, denn da verrate ich euch zwei einfach, selbstgemachte Geschenkideen zu Ostern!

What's the one thing you love the most on easter? For me it's definitely to lie in for four whole days, closely followed by my guilty pleasure - nougat eggs!
